Phew it’s a scorcher! August is around the corner and a time to take a few days off to rest up, reflect and rejoice.

Despite the B word, happy to report Q&R is enjoying a bumper year with new client wins across the PR, Comms and Social media sector including BECG, The Social Element and Aurora Health Comms.

We bagged a major new retainer with the comms team at national railway, LNER, and a comprehensive employee engagement project with Imperial College working closely with both the HR team and the Head of Communications.

We are also working with growth advisory consultancy, SI Partners, measuring both employee and client experience. Plans are also afoot to create and promote culture audits and exit readiness Pulse Checks for multiple US based clients in the M&A space.

A number of agencies including Walking Tall, AML and Integrated Resources have also signed up to our newly launched lead generation product: Gener8, a one question Pulse Check that helps to make CRM databases work harder identifying leads that may otherwise lay dormant.

This year’s Lunch 4 Like Minded – invitation only networking lunches for clients and friends of Q&R – have proved very popular with over 50 attendees to date.  The newly launched sister event in Brighton: First Friday Lunch Club, has similarly taken off with around 25 guests so far.  Big thanks in particular to Nicki Marotta, business manager, who makes all this happen and keeps us all on track.

We have also grown the Q&R team adding some seriously top talent in the shape of Lisa Pantelli, employee engagement specialist, Bonamy Waddell, insight and data storyteller and Anika Grimm, business development.

Finally, I have had the honour of judging the Employee Experience Awards in May 2019, speaking at the Brighton Chambers of Commerce, High Growth event in June and in July signed up to Futerra’s Agencies for Climate Control, with an event co-hosted with PRCA due later this autumn.

Phew indeed.  I mentioned a rest, but before that I have a chunk of the English Channel to swim.  I do like a challenge and so very much looking forward to jumping in tomorrow.  Full story here:
